Skylight Tinting & Window Film Installation

Skylight Tinting & Window Film Installation.

While skylights are popular window choices that allow stunning natural light into a room, there are some downsides to having a skylight. Skylights can account for a tremendous amount of heat buildup during the warmer months, in addition exposing occupants and interior furnishings to potentially dangerous UV light - which is the leading cause of fading. Most of these issues, however, can be addressed easily with professionally-installed skylight tinting and window film.

Our window films block 99.9% of harmful UV light and up to 80% of thermal heat gain.

Why add window film/tint:

  1. We have over 40yrs experience installing window film/tint.
  2. The adhesive has an Ultraviolet inhibitor that blocks 99.9% of harmful UV light. This alone will drastically reduce fading of furniture/rugs/floors and decor.
  3. We offer a heat reflective film that rejects 79.9% of the heat gain. It is a NOTICEABLE difference and will pay for itself quickly by reducing electricity cost to cool your home. One customer recently reported a 7degree ambient room temperature reduction from one summer to the next after rebuilding and tinting his skylights and adding the heat reflective film.
  4. The film is a laminate that holds the glass together if it were to unexpectedly break (like your windshield on your vehicle).
